From the Harvard 2009 Team: In an attempt to use and characterize this part we sequenced this part using standard biobrick primers. Sequencing and subsequent BLAST searching revealed the part not to be PhyB, but actually a Sirtuin, Sir3. In an effort to improve the registry we have entered a new part to replace this one, BBa_K207000. This thus fulfills the characterization and improvement requirements for the competition.
